Apr\u00e8s tout, il faut bien payer les factures !<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il arrive parfois qu&#039;on doive travailler avec des clients difficiles. Ils peuvent \u00eatre excessivement exigeants, pointilleux, demander constamment des choses \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re minute ou changer sans cesse d&#039;avis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les clients difficiles font partie int\u00e9grante de la vie entrepreneuriale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais il y a une diff\u00e9rence entre difficile et toxique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un client toxique vous freine (vous et votre entreprise). Certes, il est une source de revenus, mais il vous \u00e9puise aussi d&#039;une \u00e9nergie pr\u00e9cieuse que vous pourriez consacrer \u00e0 attirer des clients exceptionnels qui vous propulseraient vers l&#039;avant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les clients toxiques ne valent jamais la peine. Faites-vous une faveur et mettez fin \u00e0 cette relation. Voici comment :<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>Comment reconna\u00eetre un client toxique<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tout commence par vous. Commencez par examiner honn\u00eatement votre propre r\u00f4le dans la relation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S&#039;agit-il d&#039;une personne fondamentalement n\u00e9gative, ou y a-t-il quelque chose que vous devriez changer\u00a0? Pourriez-vous faire mieux\u00a0? Donnez-vous le meilleur de vous-m\u00eame dans cette relation\u00a0?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Une fois que vous aurez fait cet examen de conscience honn\u00eate et que vous vous serez exclu(e) de la source du probl\u00e8me, consid\u00e9rez ces comportements toxiques\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils ne respectent jamais votre emploi du temps et s&#039;attendent \u00e0 ce que vous soyez disponible \u00e0 chaque fois qu&#039;ils le demandent.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils ne cessent d&#039;ajouter des \u00e9l\u00e9ments aux conditions d&#039;un projet, mais s&#039;attendent \u00e0 ce que vous respectiez le budget et le calendrier initiaux.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils d\u00e9nigrent ou critiquent injustement votre travail (peut-\u00eatre dans le but d&#039;\u00e9viter de vous payer).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils contestent constamment les factures ou retardent les paiements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leurs communications sont agressives ou abusives. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils utilisent la menace de mauvaises \u00e9valuations pour vous contraindre \u00e0 baisser leur facture ou \u00e0 aller au-del\u00e0 des conditions convenues du projet.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils sont excessivement difficiles et rien n&#039;est jamais \u201c assez bien \u201d pour eux.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils manquent de respect \u00e0 votre expertise et insistent pour vous dire comment faire votre travail ou comment faire les choses \u201c correctement \u201d.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si vous avez encore des doutes, discutez-en avec un coll\u00e8gue, un mentor ou un coach. Un regard ext\u00e9rieur permet souvent d&#039;y voir plus clair. \u00c9vitez toutefois de mentionner des noms\u00a0: il ne s&#039;agit pas d&#039;envenimer la situation\u00a0!<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>Comment mettre fin \u00e0 la relation<\/b><\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>Avant tout, restez professionnel.<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vous faites de votre mieux pour b\u00e2tir l&#039;entreprise de vos r\u00eaves et quelqu&#039;un vous a frein\u00e9. Il est tout \u00e0 fait compr\u00e9hensible que vous ressentiez une forte r\u00e9action \u00e0 ce sujet !<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faites de votre mieux pour ne pas laisser ces sentiments interf\u00e9rer avec la rupture. Restez professionnel et tenez-vous-en aux faits, rien d&#039;autre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>Faites un dernier effort pour sauver la relation<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il est toujours possible que votre client ne soit pas conscient de son comportement. \u00c0 moins qu&#039;il n&#039;ait eu un comportement abusif ou mena\u00e7ant, ou si vous ne voyez aucune possibilit\u00e9 de poursuivre la collaboration, faites un dernier effort. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Par exemple, si votre client demande constamment plus, rappelez-lui les termes du projet initial et montrez-lui la liste de toutes ses demandes suppl\u00e9mentaires. Dites-lui que vous \u00eates pr\u00eat \u00e0 l&#039;aider pour ces extras, mais fournissez-lui un nouveau devis et un nouveau calendrier. Il se peut tout simplement qu&#039;il n&#039;ait pas conscience de l&#039;ampleur de toutes ces prestations suppl\u00e9mentaires\u00a0!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>\u00c9vitez \u201c vous \u201d<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Personne n&#039;aime se faire licencier. M\u00eame dans le cadre professionnel, on a tendance \u00e0 mal le prendre. Pour att\u00e9nuer le choc, \u00e9vitez autant que possible d&#039;utiliser le pronom \u201c\u00a0tu\u00a0\u201d. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Par exemple, au lieu de dire \u201c vous avez viol\u00e9 les termes du contrat \u201d, essayez \u201c les termes du contrat n&#039;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 respect\u00e9s \u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>Fermez la porte, mais laissez une fen\u00eatre ouverte.<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nul ne sait de quoi l&#039;avenir sera fait. Votre client traverse peut-\u00eatre une p\u00e9riode difficile, qui pourrait s&#039;am\u00e9liorer par la suite. Il se peut qu&#039;il manque de fonds ou qu&#039;il soit surcharg\u00e9 de travail.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si vous pensez qu&#039;une collaboration future est envisageable, laissez cette possibilit\u00e9 ouverte en utilisant des expressions comme \u201c peut-\u00eatre qu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;avenir nous pourrons retravailler ensemble \u201d ou \u201c si les circonstances changent, je serais ravi de collaborer \u00e0 nouveau \u201d.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>Recommandez-leur<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela ne fonctionne pas pour vous, mais cela pourrait fonctionner pour quelqu&#039;un d&#039;autre. Proposez-lui d&#039;autres noms ou d&#039;autres entreprises avec lesquelles il pourrait collaborer, ou encore des ressources comme des blogs utiles, des livres blancs ou des outils en ligne qui pourraient l&#039;aider \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser le travail lui-m\u00eame.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De cette fa\u00e7on, vous ne les laissez pas tomber.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>Terminez sur une note positive<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pensez \u00e0 au moins un aspect positif de votre relation pour conclure la rupture. Une phrase comme \u201c J&#039;ai appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 l&#039;opportunit\u00e9 de travailler avec vous \u201d ou \u201c J&#039;ai aim\u00e9 en apprendre davantage sur votre travail \u201d leur laissera une impression positive.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<h5><b>Mettez-le par \u00e9crit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vous pouvez rompre en personne ou par t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, mais assurez-vous de faire un suivi par courriel afin qu&#039;il existe une trace de l&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement pour vous deux, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Personne ne devrait avoir \u00e0 tol\u00e9rer un comportement toxique. En tant qu&#039;entrepreneur, il peut \u00eatre difficile de se s\u00e9parer d&#039;un client.
