Tell me… Do you have a “work self” and “home self? Most do! It’s our work persona – the mask of who we think we should be. In fact, many of us wear masks for all kinds of situations; in relationships, our community, with our families and more.
Let me ask you… how often do you hear the phrase, “Be in the moment”? How often do you practice it? Or, better question… what does it mean?
Embracing conflict means digging into the heart of the matter to identify what needs to be strengthened, grown or resolved. The excavation starts with uncovering what conversations truly need to be had.
In personal relationships, I believe the only way to handle a narcissist is to cut them out. A narcissist is someone who actively tries to drag you down, or drag you into their drama. You cannot change them and you will not win. You will only sink deeper into their toxicity.
However, there are situations where cutting out someone, like a toxic or narcissistic coworker, out isn’t possible.
